Fine Arts Performance

  • Performance begins at 6:30 pm 
  • Students are dropped off at 6:10 pm at the green room to sit with their class and teachers until they perform.
  • Kindergarten students will be dismissed to their parents at Intermission from the same place they were dropped off. 
  • Grades 1-5 are expected to stay for the entire performance and sing on the stage together for the final song. 
  • There are no tickets or sign-up sheets for seats. There will be a $2 donation per family to cover the costs of the sound technician. 
  • The performance, including intermission, will be about an hour and a half by the time classes perform and get on and off stage. We plan to finish our final song by 8pm

  1. Indigenous Students - Welcome Song, Drumming, and Land Acknowledgement
  2. Choir - "O'Canada" and "Sky Full of Stars"
  3. Mr. Snyder's Class - "Pachelbel's Canon" Dance Band and Talent Parade
  4. English K's - "Happy"
  5. French K's and 1's - "Si tu as de la joie au coeur"
  6. Mme Arseneau's Class - Handbells with Shadow Drama
  7. Intermission
  8. Ms. Findlay - "Popcorn" on the xylophones with Angry Birds Drama
  9. Mrs. VanEgmond's & Mrs. Gurr's class - "Teeny Tiny Woman" on the xylophones
  10.  Mrs. Nev & Mrs. O'Sullivan Class joins Mrs. VanEgmond's class - "Teeny Tiny Woman" song and dance
  11. Mrs. Dennett's Class - "The Calm Rap"
  12.  Mrs. Philips' Class joins Mrs. Dennett's Class - "Maple Swamp" song-game
  13. Mrs. Porth's Class - "Sunday Best"
  14. Mme Wismer's Class - "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" 
  15. Closing Song - Divisions 5, 7, 8, and the grade 1's will join Mme Wismer's class on stage and Divisions 2, 15, and 16 will move from their seats to stand on the floor in front of the stage to sing "True Colors" (accompanied on piano by Carmen Schultz)
  16. Dismissal - Divisions 2, 15, and 16 (the older kids that are in front of the stage for the final song) may go directly to their parents and Divisions 5, 7, 8, 18, and the grade 1's will be dismissed from the stage one at a time. Parents will be asked to meet their child(ren) at their class seats as each class is dismissed from the stage.
